haven't enjoyed a novel like this in nearly 20 years!! The flow of conversations between the characters, the emotions, the romantic overtures, the chemistry......it was beautiful! I'd appreciate it very much if this writing team would continue as a series, the characters in THE WITCHES of SALIX POINTE!!!

Book 2 was another fantastic trip to Salix Pointe! It’s filled with even more drama, love, magick, and mystery!
Tasmin and Elisa have so much weight on their shoulders. Thankfully, Octavian and Dafari are right by their side as the ladies prepare for an epic battle. I didn’t like the idea of them “partnering” with Mary Ann. “Keep your enemies close” is very true for this group.
I love Demon Daddy (don’t judge me lol), and I was happy to have more of him in this installment. He shows sides of himself which could lead you to feel he has a “soft side”. But – you keep wondering “What is he really up to?”
We get introduced to a few more characters. Some you will definitely hate, others you will love. When you reach the “history lessons” pay close attention to “little nuggets” Noelle Vella gives you. You’ll start to connect the dots. Be prepared not to be able to connect all of them – just yet.
Three things I appreciate most about Noelle Vella:
1. The research Noelle Vella has put into this series.
2. This is actually for all their books. Noelle Vella paints a gorgeous picture of their characters. Readers are shown our physical attributes are very diverse and we are beautiful people!
3. Like #2, this fits all of their books. Noelle Vella reinforces (for Black men specifically) it’s okay to be vulnerable/let your guard down for the one you love! There are key moments in this book where this shines through.

I enjoyed the beginning of what seems an epic adventure. It is a great story with rich history and fun moments as well. The main characters are very different but more like sisters and the brothers that adore them make this book even more action packed. Looking forward to the next book.

I've been to Tybee Island but not like this!
The book was very intriguing. I found myself anticipating the storylines and waiting for the passions to flow! I felt the rejections, the animosities, the ambivalence, and confidence of each of the characters. It left me with the desire foe Part 2!
